Gate & Door Control manufactured and installed two customised manual boom gates at Kia – Springfield to prevent unauthorised parking at their premises.
GDC compensated for the slight difference in the width of the lanes, by installing one 6m and one 5m boom gate that are supported with dropdown catch posts.
These catch posts are designed specifically for areas that may have different sized vehicles passing through, as these posts lift up with the boom pole and thus allow an unobstructed access for oversized transport.
These booms are designed to be robust and user-friendly, and they are lockable in the closed or open position.
